*** New Admissions Policy for Consultation ***

 

The governing body are consulting on new proposed admission arrangements for the 2021-22 school year. You are invited to provide any comments you may wish for consideration on the proposed arrangements by 9 December 2019. Final arrangements will be determined by 28 February 2020.

Applications

 

You are strongly encouraged to arrange a visit to the school either on one of the open days marked in the school calandar or ring up for an appointment, as we welcome visits every day.

 

Please read the following information below concerning applications.

 

It is important that applications for the next academic year be submitted before the deadline and complete all relevant information such as the Evidence of Baptism form. Failure to do so may result in your child being given a lower category than which they are entitled.

 

For pupils starting from September 2020 the deadline for Applications is midnight 15th January 2020.

 

The National Offer Day will be 16th April 2020.

 

It is also possible to apply to join the school part way through the year. Any requests to join the school will be discussed by the Governors at an Admissions Committee meeting with respect to the schools Admissions Policy and the outcome communicated to the applicant.

Timeline for Admission Appeals

 

  • For applications made in the normal admissions round (i.e. submitted before the years deadline of 15th January), appeals must be heard within 40 school days of the deadline for lodging appeals;

 

  • For late applications (i.e.submitted before the first day of the school term of the admission year) appeals should be heard within 40 school days from the deadline for lodging appeals where possible, or within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged;

 

  • For applications for in-year admissions, appeals must be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
