My name is Mrs Abi Thorpe-Khan and I am the Parent Support Advisor for St John’s Catholic Primary School.
My role is to provide support to families, acting as a link between school and home,

offering non-judgemental advice and guidance.
I am in school on:
Monday 8:30am-11.30am, Wednesday 1-4pm and Friday 10am-1pm.
Please contact the school office to arrange an appointment. I look forward to meeting you.
Some of the issues I can help with include:
 Family support, which can include a wide range of issues, for example: relationship issues, divorce, bereavement etc.
 Signposting and referring to local agencies and services
 Exploring challenges you and your child/children might be facing both at home and school
 Social, emotional and behavioural issues
 Help with looking for and getting into employment
 Financial and housing problems
 Ensuring you have access to the benefits and support you are entitled to.
