Class Pages
At St John’s, we are proud to deepen the connection between our Catholic faith and everyday school life. To reflect this, we have updated our class names to honour the values of the Holy Spirit. In EYFS and KS1, classes are named after the Gifts of the Holy Spirit—such as Wisdom, Understanding, and Courage—that guide us to live good and faithful lives. In KS2, classes carry the names of the Fruits of the Holy Spirit, like Joy, Kindness, and Patience, which represent the positive qualities we aim to grow in our actions and attitudes.
In addition, every child wears a special symbol of the Holy Spirit on their uniform. This emblem is a daily reminder of the Holy Spirit’s presence and guidance, inspiring us all to grow in faith, kindness, and strength. Together, the class names and the uniform symbol help children feel connected to our school community and encourage them to follow Jesus’ footsteps with love and respect.
