Whole school Pilgrimage
July 2025 marks our 7th annual whole school pilgrimage from St John’s to St Thomas More Church in Bradford on Avon. It’s a special tradition where every child, from the youngest to the oldest, walks together in community, united in faith and friendship.
The pilgrimage is a time for reflection, prayer, and celebration as we journey together, strengthening our bonds and growing closer to God. Walking side by side, our school family embodies the spirit of togetherness and shared faith, making this event a meaningful highlight of our school year. Our theme this year was supporting the Year of Jubilee - Pilgrims of Hope!
Sports Day
Our annual Sports Day is a fun and exciting event that brings the whole school community together, with this year’s focus on the Catholic Social Teaching theme of Solidarity. Through friendly competition and teamwork, our pupils learn the importance of supporting one another, working together, and celebrating each other’s efforts—just like one big family.
Sports Day is not just about winning but about showing kindness, encouragement, and respect for all. It’s a wonderful opportunity to live out the values of solidarity, reminding us that when we stand together, we can achieve great things as a community.
This year we were delighted to welcome representatives from Bath Rugby Foundation.
