Help with Childcare Costs – St John’s Catholic Primary School
We understand that managing childcare costs can be challenging for many families, and we are committed to supporting parents and carers in accessing the help they need. There are a range of government schemes available to help with childcare costs, which may be used for before and after school provision, nursery places, and holiday clubs.
Families may be eligible for support through:
Tax-Free Childcare – Get up to £2,000 per child per year to help cover childcare costs.
30 Hours Free Childcare – For eligible working parents of 3 and 4-year-olds.
Universal Credit for Childcare – Up to 85% of childcare costs can be claimed back.
Childcare Vouchers – For those still in the scheme (now closed to new applicants).
Free Early Education Entitlement (FEEE) – 15 or 30 hours of funded childcare for eligible 2, 3, and 4-year-olds.
