  • Mission Day - Thursday 17th February 2022

    Fri 18 Feb 2022

On Thursday 17th February the whole school spent the day reflecting on what our school mission means to us. We also made time to reflect on the questions posed by Pope Francis for the SYNOD. It was a wonderful day, we learnt our new mission day song and many children shared deep thinking about their role in living out our mission and the church they want to be part of in the future. A full reflection of the day will be added to the school website. Well done to everyone, keep 'growing and learning in the footsteps of Jesus'.

    Class 3 Liturgy

On Tuesday 8th February Class 3 were excited to celebrate their Class liturgy with Fr Tom. We focused on Mark's Gospel 'The Calming of the Storm' and reflected on when we ask for God's help. The children read and acted out the Gospel with confidence and reverence. We selected the hymns  ‘Our hands are yours’ and ‘Our God is a great big God'.  Here are some of the children's voices which were gathered after the Liturgy:

Alessandra said ‘I loved watching the other children act out the gospel especially when they made the huge waves'.

Iggy said ‘I love when Father Tom comes in to see us’.

Gabriela said ‘I practised really hard to learn my words at home. I liked standing at the front of the class reading the alleluia’.

Well done to all the children in Class 3 you were fantastic ambassadors of our school!
