    EYFS/Year 6 Buddies

The Year 6 Buddies and all the EYFS children FINALLY got an opportunity to meet each other and engage in a PE lesson together on Tuesday. It was a wonderful afternoon and the older children were excellent role models to the youngest children in our school family.

Here’s some pupil voice from Year 6 children about meeting their buddies.

“I enjoyed the games with my buddies because we got to build a bond with them by talking to them and getting to know them personally.” Seth C.

“I enjoyed meeting the children in Reception as they were very nice. They made my day when we played games with them.” Lucas H.

“What I enjoyed was that I got know someone new, and that we played fun games with them which made them happy.” Imogen K.

The children also engaged in a workshop with two zoo keepers where they had an opportunity to get up close to a variety of animals and insects.

The children were engaged with every opportunity and were fantastic ambassadors of the school.
