Book Club

BOOK CLUB


Book club is run by a group of volunteers on Friday mornings in school hours and is a chance for children to gain independence and use numeracy skills as they save up and purchase a book by themselves.  This is not a compulsory scheme. 

 

If your child wants to take part, please send in a small amount of money on a Friday in a clearly labelled envelope with their name and "Book Club" written on it.  This is then transferred into stamps, and when the child has enough stamps they can buy the book of their choice. The book of their choice is reserved for them until they have paid the total amount off and can bring it home with them.

 

The profits from Book Club are reinvested in high quality books for individual classes and the school library. They also fund the Year 6 leavers with their beautiful Bibles, which we hope will guide the children  through their lives.
