School Uniform

ST. JOHN’S CATHOLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL UNIFORM

 

All children at Saint John’s school wear uniform.  It is available from Scholars Outfitters with the exception of the tights, which can be purchased from our School Association, who also have a large selection of nearly new uniform available.  Reception children wear a gold polo shirt throughout the year and not a shirt and tie.

 

The uniform consists of:

 

WHITE SHIRT

TIE

SWEATSHIRT WITH LOGO / CARDIGAN WITH LOGO

GOLD POLO SHIRT

BROWN TROUSERS/BROWN SKIRT/BROWN PINAFORE

DARK SOCKS/WHITE SOCKS/BROWN TIGHTS (NO BLACK SOCKS OR TIGHTS)

BROWN OR BLACK SHOES

 

During the summer term a gold polo shirt with a logo and brown shorts should be worn with shoes or sandals (3/4 length shorts and Bermuda or surfing shorts are not acceptable).  Socks must be worn at all times.

 

During the summer term a yellow and white checked dress may be worn (white shorts may be worn under dress) with either white or dark shoes or sandals. Again socks must be worn at all times.

 

No children are allowed to wear trainers unless they are taking part in a PE lesson.  Jewellery must not be worn with the exception of a watch and one small pair of stud earrings. Nail varnish and dyed hair is not allowed and fashion or extreme hairstyles are not permissible, long hair to be tied back.

Trainers (no logos permitted)

Spare socks

 

Children should come to school wearing their PE kits on designated PE days. Please ensure children have trainers in school every day for the mile a day run.

 

PLEASE   Help to keep your child looking smart by naming every item of clothing.  It is impossible to return school uniform to its rightful owners if it is not clearly labelled.

 

Co-operation and firm guidance from parents is sought to ensure that all our children attend school correctly dressed.
