A Guide to Absence through Illness
What to do if my child is unwell.
We understand that all children become ill from time to time. If you feel your child is not well enough to attend school please leave a message on the answerphone before 8.30am on each day your child is absent. If you need to talk to a member of the office team regarding the absence please request a call back when you leave your message.
If your child becomes ill during the school we will telephone parents and carers in the order detailed on the emergency contact list. Please ensure you inform the school of any changes to telephone numbers or emergency contacts as soon as possible.
Please see below the guidance for the length of time off school if your child develop an illness.
