The Emmaus Partnership

St John’s is proud to be part of the Emmaus Partnership of schools. The partnership works together with the common aim of promoting Catholic education and comprises a mixture or primary secondary schools within Clifton Diocese. These include St Louis in Frome, St Augustine’s College in Trowbridge, St Josephs in Devizes, St Georges in Warminster, St Edwards in Romsey, St Joseph’s in Salisbury, St Osmund’s in Salisbury, Wardour in Tisbury and St Edmunds in Calne.

Members of staff at St John’s are part of different Emmaus committees who meet regularly to share best practice.

Mrs Sessions our Head teacher chairs the Resources committee and works with Mrs Poulter our School Business Manager and other Business Managers in the partnership to ensure best value of services across Emmaus. She is also a member of the Standards and Quality Committee and is Chair of the Emmaus Schools.

Mrs O’Rourke our Deputy Head teacher is a member of the Mission and Ethos Committee. 

 

Collaborative Schools Ltd (CSL)

St John’s is also proud to be part of the Collaborative Schools partnership which comprises primary and secondary schools in Trowbridge and from the surrounding area. CSL is based on the site of John of Gaunt school in Trowbridge at The Hub and allows the schools to access training collaboratively and has a number of curriculum based groups who meet regularly to share ideas. It hosts a Pupil Parliament which focuses on and addresses local issues which are of a concern to our children. CSL also co-ordinates sports tournaments and music concerts for the local schools.
