The children thoroughly enjoyed the production. They were an active and engaging audience and showed that even so early on in their first school year, that they are impressive ambassadors of St John’s School!

Bath Children’s Literature Festival
On Friday 23rd September a group of KS2 children had the pleasure of attending Bath Children's Literature Festival and listening to a performance by Michael Rosen. The children were entertained with his fantastic retelling of stories and poems and he even shared a very quick rendition of the infamous 'Chocolate Cake' poem! Michael Rosen shared writing tips that the KS2 children could use back at school and Nikola Z was privileged to be selected from 1,000 children to ask him a question! We have purchased a signed copy of Michael Rosen's new books for each phase. It was a wonderful afternoon and once again the St John's children demonstrated exemplary behaviour. A big 'thank you' must go to Clare Doogue - one of our dedicated Governors - who accompanied the children during the visit.
