    E-Safety Policy

As part of the review of the school E-Safety Policy and our continued commitment to keeping our pupils safe online, we have made a change to our Responsible Internet Use Consent Form.

All parents complete this form when their child joins the school, however as a number of children now have their own device to access online, we have taken the decision to ask all children in KS2 to sign a Learner Acceptable Use Agreement. This details how they will use electronic devices both inside and outside of school to stay safe. A paper copy of this form will come home with every KS2 child on Friday.

Please can you go through this with your child, ask them to sign to  confirm that they have understood the form and then sign yourself before returning the form to the school office as soon as possible. If you have any questions please contact Mrs Poulter on admin@st-johns-trowbidge.wilts.sch.uk

    Catholic Social Teaching Exhibition

We are incredibly grateful to all the families and parishioners who joined us to celebrate our inspirational Catholic Social Teaching Exhibition.

It was wonderful to see so many people celebrating the voice of the children and giving them an opportunity to showcase their impressive work.  We will be adding photos and a selection of the children's speeches to the school website - please do take a look!

We have been working with Sr Judith Russi for some time now but it was an honour to actually have her with our school family and she was quite rightly very impressed with the knowledge and voice of the children, so much so she has promised to visit us again! One of the children in Year 5 shared ' I really liked CST week because I got to express what I think about an issue and how I feel about things that aren't right in our world. I like it that I have knowledge and I could teach my parents and show them what I do in school.'

  • LKS2 Mass—Friday 23rd June 2023

    Fri 23 Jun 2023

    LKS2 Mass—Friday 23rd June 2023

On Friday 23rd June there was a Lower Key Stage 2 Mass in the Hall.

Canon Tom lead us assuredly through the Mass with support as ever from the children. A special mention needs to be made of Theo G as Canon Tom stated that his reading was one of the best he had ever heard!

The parents and relatives came to share this special event and enjoyed refreshments and relaxing with their children afterwards.
